Mr. Taub has more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry.  He received his early training at Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney, moved to the Private Client Group at Chase and subsequently founded GBT Financial Group, a privately held financial services company.  The firm’s area of experience revolves around clients from the civil service industry and the private sector with emphasis on retirement pension services and deferred compensation.

Prior to joining the financial community, Mr. Taub established a transport company which he grew from two to 275 employees and billings in the high eight figures in eleven years. The holding company was the host to four separate firms.  As the Chief Operating Officer he was responsible for the long term financial welfare of his employees, including insurance and disposition of their retirement benefits.  This experience has given him an intimate view of the issues facing the current workforce, as well as the retirement community.
